January 12, 2007

According to DEICIDE's European booking agent, Massive Music, the band's frontman, Glen Benton, will join the group's in-progress European tour on January 13 in Paris, France after being forced to miss the first week of dates due to what is believed to be a pressing legal matter back home in Florida.

Although the Spanish promoter Matarile withdrew its support for the tour yesterday (Thursday, January 11),DEICIDE has vowed to go ahead with the Spanish leg of the tour and has now re-booked the dates that were cancelled by Matarile. The new Spanish tour dates are as follows:

Jan. 15 - Irun, SPA - Sala Tunk
Jan. 17 - Madrid, SPA - Ritmo & Compas
Jan. 18 - Tarragona, SPA - Sala Golfus Club

As previously reported, Seth van Loo (SEVERE TORTURE, NOX, CENTURION) handled the vocal duties for the first four dates of DEICIDE's European tour. Beginning with this past Tuesday night's (January 9) concert in Manchester, England, Garbaty "Yaha" from the Polish death metal band DISSENTER joined DEICIDE on bass/vocals and is scheduled to perform all shows until Benton is able to take over.
